Mr. Lincoln Price is the Private Sector Liaison in the Office of Trade Negotiation (OTN) of the CARICOM Secretariat, formerly the Caribbean Regional Negotiating Machinery (CRNM).
Mr. Price is an Economist and Statistician with over 10 years experience in Market Research, Trade Negotiations and Strategic Planning.
His responsibilities are geared towards helping the private sector to maximise the benefits of trade agreements through the Private Sector Outreach Program. The Private sector outreach program has included various Trade Power Dialogues, and Trade Negotiation “Bootcamps” which are geared towards demystifying trade negotiations, and getting systematic private sector input into this complex process.
Prior to his tenure at the CRNM, Mr. Price was employed to Jamaica’s Investment and Export Development Agency (JAMPRO), as the Manager of the Policy and Planning Unit and was instrumental in the establishment of Jamaica’s Competitiveness Committee, as well as negotiating various trade and investment treaties. |
