Ms. Patrice Pratt is Technical Advisor – Government Procurement and Competition Policy in the Office of Trade Negotiation (OTN) of the CARICOM Secretariat, formerly the Caribbean Regional Negotiating Machinery (CRNM, based in Kingston on secondment from the Government of Jamaica.
Ms. Pratt has worked in this field for over seven years. She also serves as CARICOM's Lead Negotiator for Government Procurement. Prior to coming to the CRNM she served with Jamaica's Ministry of Finance & Planning as Director, Procurement Policy Implementation.
Ms. Pratt has advised and/or assisted a number of Caribbean Governments in public procurement reforms, including Jamaica and the British Virgin Islands. In this capacity she has designed, developed and implemented public procurement systems and supporting frameworks including the development of appropriate legislative frameworks to enable policy implementation, and ‘green procurement' procedures that facilitate sustainable development.
She holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Economics (cum laude) degrees. Mrs. Pratt Harrison is a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon (International Economics Honour Society). |
