Trevor L. Boothe is Director, Technical Cooperation, Partnerships and Information (DTCPI) in the Caribbean Regional Negotiating Machinery (CRNM) Barbados office, and is a member of the CRNM’s four (4) person management team. 

Mr. Boothe is responsible for ensuring that CRNM maintains effective working relationships with its Member States and existing donors with regard to the funding of technical cooperation activities, and he is at the nexus in the CRNM between donor funding and the technical work of the agency.  He is responsible for the preparation of proposals for next cycle funding from existing development partners and negotiations for such funding, as well as the mobilization of funding from new partners, and he maintains oversight of and directs the CRNM’s private sector and communications initiatives.

Mr. Boothe was a member of the Jamaican Foreign Service 1971-1976; Coordinator, United Nations Caribbean Environment Program 1976-1981; Director Investment Promotion, Jamaican National Investment Promotion (JNIP) 1981-1983; Public and Private Sector Consultant 1983-1992 with an intervening stint 1985-1989 as General Manager, Eagle Unit Trust Management Company of Jamaica.  He was also a senior officer with the Inter-American Development Bank from 1992- 2004.

Prior to his professional career, Mr. Boothe undertook Hispanic Studies at the University of Madrid and earned a BA from Waterloo University College, Canada and an M.Phil., from Kings College, University of London.
