Ms. Carol Lynch is the Trade Data Expert at the Caribbean Regional Negotiating Machinery (CRNM) based in Barbados.  She holds responsibility for channeling trade data analyses into the trade negotiations across various technical disciplines such as market access, services and investment negotiations. 

Ms. Lynch has worked in Government, the Private Sector and Academia.  She is a trained Economic Statistician, and worked with the Barbados Statistical Service in areas of International Trade, National Accounting, and Business Surveys. She is also trained in the Balance of Payments System (BOP) as well as the Extended Balance of Payments (EBOP) an adaptation to account for international trade in services. 

Ms. Lynch worked as a Consultant – Investment and Services to the Barbados Private Sector Trade Team, where she represented the trading interests of the private sector across various negotiating theatres.  In academia, she managed business development initiatives for the Shridath Ramphal Centre for International Trade Law, Policy and Services at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. 

Carol holds a BSc. Economics with Management (Hons) from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus and a MSc. International Marketing Management (Dist) from the University of Surrey, Guildford, Surrey, UK.
